    When I create, I feel connected to that universal energy in a way that is reflective and meaningful and selfish and satisfying.  The energy I create and put into my work becomes something more then whatever the piece itself, because I have a transference of energy into a moment, and the result is something that I can revisit and connect with at any time. The same way scents or sounds can take you back to a moment in your life, art and design helps me keep those connections and moments of energy alive. These are some of my favorite pieces I’ve done.

    "Lookin Up" - I've worked on these elements, colors, tones, overlays, shapes, for a while on several projects. I am making this into a 60" mural for my room for my BDay gift to myself. It represents my passion of surfing, spiritual connection and that mix of positive energy within the dark and unknown boundaries. Life can be what you make of it. "Lookin Up" is a matter of perspective.Another one of my creations for a gal I never met. Gina was a roller-derbie gal, tough leggy and sexy. She wanted an art piece that captured her beauty and her tough spirit. This is a favorite piece of mine.This was the first real art piece I ever made using a Wacom Tablet with Photoshop. I made this back in 1999 and call it "Creation". I have a fascination with mixing positive energy, beautiful women, and elegant quotes. I never met Ashlie, whose legs are kickin up in the air here, but after a few phone calls to get to know a little bit about her and her style, I think I created the perfect art piece for her.This was one of the first paintings I ever did. I spent most the night in my studio, painting and then repainting until I got the mood, tunes, and feeling just right. The final piece is called "Emerged". It was an acrylic on canvas done in 1998This is a variation on a digital piece I made using a great surf image. I was feeling the love this artistic evening and as is my style, played with the different styles and elements until the creation was just right.
